Logo Process – Company Insurance’s Logo Design

By | March 9, 2011

The creation of a logo to identify any group or entity is a process that demands much effort from the designer. It should be clear the original concept, provided by the company, and the characteristics that define the advantage over the competition.

With all of these guidelines is necessary to have a separate notebook for key words then we help design a sketch that is part of the central idea of the whole.

We have at our disposal many sketches of the logo but none of them conforms to what the customer requests then it will, maybe even a future job. Typography, logo, and the final effects were part of the main idea and allow the Company to differ from the others.

First sketch of the protagonist of the Cross Project

By | January 25, 2010

Cross Project is a 3D animated short I’m finishing level outline script and drawing. The protagonist, the basis of all the short story, is a hit man to whom is entrusted the murder of a former partner at home. Obviously the latter is not prepared to wait with open arms to his executioner.

That’s the premise, because I do not want to delve more would spoil the final result. The picture below shows the first sketch of the main character, you see the main feature of this man is defeated and disinterested look, the exoskeleton that covers the torso and part of the chest, and the cross he carries in his back.

All these elements serve a real function, except the cross in the drawing is expressing the theme of which is short. That’s all for now, more progress soon.

Conceptual Art of Bio-mutant

By | November 30, 2009

Do conceptual art of this bio-mutant because now I’m busy with some activities outside the art. This does not mean I did it reluctantly, on the contrary, fully enjoyed my first idea of what it was a monster.

I based on a mutant zombie or combined with a genetically engineered creature (the whole saga Resident Evil, Survival Horror game par excellence). I’ve never created a creature like me so grown rather fond of my humble version of Frankenstein.

To get the general idea of what is to me a monster three words: asymmetry, ugliness, disgust. Especially the first asymmetry, every creature that has this feature is out of the patterns of what beauty means today.

This work is the basis for creating a 3D figure next summer so this “unfortunate” in a terrific trailer. In the next post attached the other views and details.
